Branch Operations Manager

We are seeking a Branch Operations Manager! You will be responsible for the effective management of your assigned branch office, providing guidance to staff in providing quality service to members in the areas of account transactions, loan applications, new accounts and solving problems within established policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.
• Manages and monitors branch expenditures.
• Develop, apply, and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch.
• Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the credit union is adequately staffed with competent employees.
• Schedule staff, give performance reviews, and recommend salary adjustments.
• Ensure adequate staffing for efficient branch operation.
• Manage and recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
• Monitor key products/sales within the branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices for the credit union, a high quality of service for members, and that employees are maximizing opportunities to sell products.
• Manage the security and safety of the branch, with responsibility to analyze security and safety policies and procedures, and to alert staff of any changes.
• Process consumer and home equity loan applications.
• Serve as the Bank Secrecy Act/USA Patriot Act/Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance officer for the credit union. 
• Promote and sell the products and services offered by the credit union.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• Previous experience in financial branch management, financial services, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of common banking practices.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to work under pressure.
