Murwood Keyspot is a childcare center, located on the campus of Murwood Elementary School in Walnut Creek. We are looking for a playful and committed aide for our program. Ideally, applicants for this job will need to have some experience working with children in a recreational setting. Keyspot provides a comprehensive program to meet children's emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs. Our staff works together to plan and facilitate activities for all children both indoors and outdoors.
Schedule:
Have fun and a genuine interest in sharing knowledge with others
Assist teachers with implementing and supervising activities for children between the ages of 4.6 and 12 years.
Establish and maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents, and staff.

- Monday through Friday
- Full-time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- High School Graduate, GED or equivalent
- Must be able to do the following:

Assist teachers with implementing and supervising activities for children between the ages of 4.6 and 12 years.
Establish and maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining a safe, clean, learning environment and assuring the well-being and safety of the children in their care.
- Maintains cooperative, professional relationship with other staff,
- Exhibits a genuine nurturing, caring attitude to all children.
- Maintains a positive, calm attitude and encourages this attitude in others. Assists with housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of snacks for the children.
