Success in insurance career training requires foundational knowledge of insurance principles, strong analytical abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with many roles benefiting from state licensing. Familiarity with industry-standard software, customer management systems, and completion of pre-licensing courses or certifications like the Life & Health or Property & Casualty licenses are typical. Networking within your company and participating in industry events can also support your progression into supervisory or leadership roles.

What is insurance career training?
