Brix provides services throughout the commercial construction process, where our experienced team collaborates closely with clients, architects, and designers, to successfully develop a variety of commercial buildings. Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimator/ Project manager to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in examining and estimating the work of various construction projects. As a project manager, you will be responsible for handling a variety of management needs and supporting our team throughout the construction process. This position is a true combination of estimation and project management. You may find yourself as a PM some days, and estimating other days, but this ultimately depends on your abilities and desire to become a supportive asset to our team.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the project management team to review quotes and estimates.
Prepare detailed proposals for customers as needed.
Estimate time and cost for installation, repair, or construction projects.
Maintain an updated database of unit rates for accurate estimating.
Manage all estimating processes from start to finish.
Attend project meetings and company training sessions.
Develop, prepare, and maintain buyout budgets, including small business goals.
Perform research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing.
Track and analyze data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs.
Develop relationships with engineers to discuss plans and specifications.
Ensure adherence to approved processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in business, civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
Advanced knowledge of CAD Software and systems.
Experience drawing up plans, cost estimates, change orders, and cost analysis.
Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in critical thinking to assist with daily tasks.
Attention to detail and excellent time management capabilities.
Preferred experience in construction sales
