Data Reporting Analyst

Description A healthcare technology firm located north of Boston is looking for a Data Analyst Report Writer to help their Finance team upgrade their reporting system. Currently the team uses Excel for all of their reports and with hundreds of thousands of lines of data, they are looking for someone experienced with SSRS, Tableau or PowerBI to get their reporting into the latest technology to simplify and speed up their reports. The team considers themselves experts in Excel, but someone more technical coming in with solid data analysis and report writing experience will help the team get to the next level.

Tableau, PowerBI or SSRS SQL will be key. You will be the data expert on the team. The reporting system isn't in place yet, so you can have the opportunity to be part of the decision making process as long as you are comfortable in a Microsoft SQL shop.

Due to this role being remote for the coming months we need someone with excellent Analysis skills that can interact with the business users, understand their reports and gather requirements on how to build the next generation data analysis tool. We need someone comfortable creating a spec and requirement, there will be no one there who will do this for you. The position will be a mixture of Business Analysis, Report Writing and Data Analysis.
