Job Description

Join Electronic Security Services, Inc. (ESSI) in Upper Marlboro, MD, where we’re seeking a versatile individual to fill the role of Customer Service and Dispatch Representative. If you’re a problem-solving, team-oriented individual with a knack for customer service, this might just be the perfect fit for you!

Qualifications We Are Looking For in You:

  • Friendly, Helpful Demeanor.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Experience in Customer Service and/or call dispatching.
  • Proficient with Windows 10+ and experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, various software and\or database programs.
  • Strong communication skills (Oral and Written).
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Well organized, effective at multi-tasking.
  • Abilities to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced work environment.
  • Clear Background Check.
  • Time Management Skills.

 

Responsibilities You Will Take On:

  • Answering and making phone calls.
  • Handling inquiries and service repair and work requests.
  • Reviewing files and records.
  • Document and correspondence management.
  • Maintaining filing systems (physical and digital).
  • Compiling records of office activities.
  • Photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
  • Emailing and typing documents.
  • Data entry and database maintenance.
  • Coordinating workflow.
  • Keeping your office area organized.
  •  
  • Dispatching service calls
  • Communicating with customers and field personnel
  • Updating work orders and databases
  • Following up with customers
  • Coordinating with other departments

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Lunch: 30 Minutes

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and internet use
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Dispatching experience preferred but not required
