Job Description

We are seeking a Working Foreman to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of skilled trades, as well as perform renovation work yourself.

Monaco Interiors is a 21-year-old Design and Renovation company. We are searching for a knowledgeable working foreman to join our team of designers and skilled trades. The right candidate will have plenty of personal working experience in rough and finish carpentry and knowledge of basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical to ensure that professional trades meet our standards and code requirements. Knowledge of building codes and the ability to read architectural, structural, and engineering plans are a must.

Must fully understand the construction process in both the renovation and addition segments of residential work. MUST UNDERSTAND CANADIAN building methods and have a good handle on the English language.

Someone who is looking to grow and eventually lead their own team and manage multiple job sites but can perform the work themselves would be a great fit.

Must have their own tools, a working vehicle, and a valid driver's license. Truck an asset.

This position requires hands-on labour and the ability to build both structural and complete finishings such as trims, doors, and other finish carpentry.

Salary is based on experience, knowledge, and performance, starting at a lower segment and revising within three months, depending on proven qualities and skills. There is a three-month probationary period.
