Title of Position: Event Manager

Job Description:The Event Manager's responsibility is to handle both social and group bookings. They work closely with the country clubs sales team to guide clients through the event process from start to finish. Their primary duties include finalizing all details of the event with the client and coordinating with various departments in the Country Club to ensure its success. Additionally, they are responsible for meeting and exceeding event revenue goals and conducting Country Club tours for potential clients. The position requires handling group billing and ensuring that all financial transactions related to events are accurately recorded and processed. The Event Manager may be expected to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Overall, the success of the Event Manager depends on their ability to collaborate with other members of the country clubs team while demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills. They play a critical role in ensuring that events are executed efficiently and effectively, with an emphasis on providing guests with exceptional experiences.

Qualifications:

The Event Manager will deliver captivating facility tours for members, guests, or clients and offer assistance in venue selection.

The Event Manager will collaborate with members or clients to develop contracts, schedule events, and execute them within budget limits.

The Event Manager will co-lead hands-on training sessions for banquet servers, bartenders, and bussers to guarantee exceptional service.

The Event Manager will support Club event rentals and acquire necessary supplies and equipment.

The Event Manager must possess an Associate Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

The Event Manager should showcase a track record of three or more years in catering sales management with proven revenue growth.

The Event Manager will show proficiency in maintaining client records for billing purposes.
