The SimuTech IT Team is responsible for all internal IT systems and support in addition to licensing and installation support for our external Ansys software customers. During the duration of your internship with SimuTech, your primary role will be to provide internal IT Support to SimuTech employees and external Ansys IT Support to our customers. During this time, you will have the opportunities to regularly collaborate and be mentored by experienced IT Professionals as well as serve and work alongside many SimuTech simulation engineers, salespeople and business leaders.

Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:

The IT Co-op will mainly perform the following tasks:

  1. Daily Ansys Licensing and Installation Technical Support for external customers
  2. Daily IT Help Desk Support for internal users
  3. Troubleshooting software, hardware, and network related issues on Windows OS
  4. User Onboarding Including User Hardware/Software Setup and Training

    11. Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
    12. English-based communication, technical writing, and verbal skills
  • Technical
    1. Good understanding of Windows Operating Systems
    2. Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems on Windows Operating Systems
    3. Troubleshoot basic network issues
    4. Support & troubleshoot various common desktop applications including O365
    5. Comfortable supporting users in person and remotely
