Chris Smith Insurance office is looking to grow again and wants to hire a CSR to add to our team immediately! 

Licensed agents are encouraged to apply or be willing to get licensed.  We are a growing agency located in Oak Ridge. Integrity and honesty are our core values as we strive to not only help people when they need it but to also be trusted members of the community.

We are looking for an incredibly outgoing personality comfortable talking to customers on the phone that will assist customers with questions about their insurance, upsell when possible, and eventually write life policies. 

Responsibilities

• Answer phones with a high level of professionalism and assist customers with their insurance needs and questions.
• Respond to customers in a timely manner.
• Help with the workload to assist the other agents when needed.
• Respond to emails. 
• Eventually – offer life insurance policies to customers.
• Check in with current customers to go over policies. 

Qualifications

• P&C license- preferred (or be willing to get licensed)
• Strong professionalism with stellar phone etiquette skills
• Must have a strong customer service background
• Have a fundamental understanding of computers and Microsoft office programs
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are required
• Punctual
• Have a natural desire to help others and ability to build relationships
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

Starting pay- $16, with performance-based bonuses available as time goes on.  Assistance with getting licensed will be offered.
