Job Description

Position: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

Hours: 40 (will consider exceptional candidates who prefer part time)

Work Location: Onsite – Dunwoody, Ga

The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst administers, maximizes, and enhances our Salesforce org and related applications, such as Traction Rec, an integrated app on the Salesforce platform that is used to manage memberships, program registrations, facility bookings, and other agency operations. We are looking for an individual who is innovative, collaborative, and solution-oriented, and is driven to provide the highest quality experience to staff, members, and program participants.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze the unique business needs of the various MJCCA departments.
  • Proactively develop and implement improvements to the user experience for both internal staff and community members.
  • Build automations to streamline processes and optimize productivity.
  • Create customizations using Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Components.
  • Support new and existing 3rd party integrations, including website, access control, fitness, ticket sales, texting, backups, forms, etc.
  • Facilitate the adoption of native Salesforce functionality, e.g. sales and service, by partnering with different departments and customizing to meet their needs.
  • Keep abreast of newly released features and provide recommendations for their use.
  • Assess internal user satisfaction and concerns. Request functionality enhancements through service providers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting. Submit and manage support cases with our service providers. Log and track identified system problems through resolution.
  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and permissions, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations.
  • Create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including program staff, managers, strategic planning and analysis staff and/or outside consultants as needed.
  • Manage the software update testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as new application uses are developed.
  • Train new and existing users on how to use core Salesforce and associated applications.
  • Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Proficient at building Salesforce automation solutions
  • Ability and/or experience to identify requirements, analyze workflow and recommend efficient and effective workflow, and lead small projects
  • Experience with third party integration projects
  • Experience with Salesforce development environment with the ability to review/build/modify APEX/Visual Force
  • Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Proficient at an intermediate/advanced level with Microsoft Excel
  • 1+ years of total professional experience and/or relevant internships
