Intake Coordinator - Patient Service Rep

AppleTree Staffing is working with a Medical Facility in the Indianapolis area looking to fill an Intake Coordinator! 

This company has 12 locations in Indiana, and they just continue to grow! They have a long-established history of commitment to the community. Their physicians have been diagnosing and treating patients in Indianapolis and Central Indiana for more than 40 years. They are dedicated to patient-friendly care and leading-edge research.

Responsibilities:

• Enter admissions information into a computer system.
• Verify a potential patient's insurance information.
• Collect and process patients' co-pays.
• Answer incoming calls to address patients' inquiries and explain the admissions process.
• Perform administrative duties, including making copies, sending faxes, and organizing files.
• Help patients schedule their appointments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, and copiers.
• Minimum of 2 year experience in patient services preferably in a health care setting.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent patient service skills
