JDNO Training Specialist

JOB OPENING

ACLC, LLC supports the Joint Interoperability Division's (JID) mission as the JCS proponent for the Joint Data Network Officer's (JDNO) Training Program, with the objective of ensuring that operational forces can exploit the full capability of the Joint Data Network. Support covers the full range of functions required to plan, develop, coordinate and manage the JDNO training program to include courseware development and formal academic training in JDNO capabilities.

Title: Training Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops an instructional design plan for JDNO courses and ensures that an approved instructional design methodology is used during JDNO curriculum development.
• Plans, designs, and develops engaging learning from the creation of the objectives and outline, to writing content. 
• Conducts research and needs analysis necessary to develop and revise training courses and associated training products. 
• Defines target audience; conducts needs assessment; performs assessment analyses and task analyses; determines training requirements.
• Selects method and components for delivering various types of content.
• Works closely with JDNO SMEs and other team members to communicate and coordinate curriculum development activities. 
• Translates knowledge and performance deficiencies into training requirements. 
• Develops objectives and ensure content matches those objectives. 
• Designs effective training programs in virtual, constructive, or live environments.
• Structures content and activities for student learning. 
• Develops instructor materials such as course outline, background material, and training aids. 
• Develops student material such as course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates and course critique forms. 
• Evaluates and validates completed instructional materials.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience of which at least two years must be developing and providing technical and end-user training or technical subject matter, or
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years' experience of which at least four years must be developing and providing technical and end-user training or technical subject matter; or
• No degree and ten years of experience of which at least eight of those then years are training developing and providing technical and end-user training or technical subject matter.
• Must possess a current SECRET security clearance.
