Job Description

Bloom Energy is looking for a Training Development Specialist to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies.

The Training Development Specialist will be responsible for professionally delivering energy server maintenance curriculum to Bloom Energy field service technicians. Prerequisites for this role include exceptional teaching skills, curriculum mastery, and leadership in training environments. Electrical system maintenance experience is preferred. This role may require traveling up to 30% of the time for on-site training.

Location: This position is based onsite 5 days a week at Bloom Energy's Training Center in Fremont, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development, review, and improvement of training materials and curricula, including a mixture of classroom lecture, hands-on simulation and online technical training

  • Delivering technician maintenance training at all experience levels

  • Ability to lead, instruct, and mentor

  • Support development of technician certification testing

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as an instructor in a training environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience instructing in electrical system maintenance

  • BS Electrical engineering
