As a vital part of our team, the Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.

Responsibilities:
As the Controller, you will lead our accounting team and oversee financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Monitoring: Closely monitoring the financial health of the hospice by analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance issues.
Reporting: Producing comprehensive financial-status reports for senior managers to enhance operational efficiency and support continued growth.
Guiding Financial Decisions: Applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape to guide financial decisions.
Financial Controls: Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines.
Budgeting: Achieving budgeting goals through proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
Payroll Efficiency: Maximizing payroll efficiency through innovative process development.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

Experience: A background as an accountant, preferably in a senior role within the industry.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical Abilities: Skilled financial analysis capabilities.
