NAVCO, is currently recruiting a Purchasing Manager to join our team of professionals in the Northwest Houston, TX area.

Job Description

The primary role of the Purchasing Manager will be to develop purchasing strategies and best practices. Includes leading a small team to provide efficient, time sensitive purchasing of goods and services for manufactured- to- order and engineered- to- order products.

Job Responsibilities

Implement purchasing strategies and procedures
Lead and train a small team of purchasing agents
Process and review purchase orders
Manage inventory levels to meet manufacturing needs
Build partnerships with suppliers
Communicate with inside and outside associates to achieve results

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in purchasing or related field
3+ years’ experience or proven leadership ability
ERP, MRP software experience a plus
Bilingual in German a plus
