The Seagraves Agency is looking for highly motivated, coachable individuals who are A players are looking to make a career change and start a path down business ownership! Your main goal will always be to put the prospects best interest first by advising them on property, casualty, and life insurance as well as financial services. . Experience in the industry is not necessary.

Farmers Protege Program is a 9-12 month program that is designed to give you hands-on experience with a mentor agent, district office training, and a pathway to success in the insurance industry. After successful completion of the program there is no financial asset required to open an agency.

• Achieve goals and measurables by writing new property, casualty and life insurance from leads that are provided by the agency.
• Ensure that the Agency Sales Process is followed on a consistent basis with all prospects.
• Accountable for managing a pipeline in the CRM and following up with all prospects accordingly.
• Responsible for accurate underwriting.
• Ensure all documents are received and e-signed by prospects that have purchased insurance.
• Demonstrate competency and knowledge of new products & rules for our industry.
• Deliver on key performance indicators on a daily basis.

• Be open to being coached but also not afraid to speak your mind.
• Eagerness to learn new things through many different mediums (Webinars, Books, Podcasts, etc.)
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
• Career minded and goal-oriented individual.
• Sales experience preferred.
• No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
• Property, Casualty, Life, and Health licenses will be required to obtain before first day of work.
