Title: Production Associates - Heavy Lifting

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Shift: 1st shift -- 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm

Location: Akron, OH

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Follows production SOPs in regards to morning setup, daily tasks, changeovers, and end-of-day clean-up procedures on all equipment.
• Adheres to all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and product specification to ensure safe, wholesome quality product.
• Always observes quality standards.
• Identifies defects to inspection for rework back onto the production line.
• May repair, handle and/or redistribute rework product.
• Checks and fills all hoppers making adjustments as needed.
• Communicates with other employees regarding changes or concerns about the product quality during production runs.
• Documents and completes production paperwork as needed for each necessary task.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Must have the ability to work both individually and with a team.
• Must be able to help wherever is needed, and be a team player.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
