Position: Air Export Operations Specialist
Salary: Up to $75K annually
Location: Nassau/Suffolk County Border on Long Island

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the international air export process from start to finish, including issuing and rating air waybills, house air waybills, and consolidations
Provide rate quotations with competitive pricing and service options
Negotiate pricing with vendors to secure the best pricing, routing, and service for customers
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities
Liaise with customers and operations to establish proper standard operating procedures
Ensure timely document submission and effective communication with stakeholders
Stay updated on U.S. export laws and regulations

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in international freight operations
Proficiency in basic computer applications(MS Office Suite)
Knowledge of domestic trucking, EEI filing, U.S. export regulations, and customer service experience
College degree preferred or equivalent working experience
Strong phone, email communication, and computer skills
