Your Impact as an Export Operations Specialist:

We’re looking for a highly organized, analytical professional to manage export operations at our Chicago branch (Itasca, IL). You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth international shipments, coordinating with clients, carriers, and overseas agents while handling critical export documentation.

Top Tasks:

  • Export Documentation: AES Entry, Export Bills of Lading amp; Air/Ocean shipment prep.
  • Freight Coordination: Book amp; track outbound shipments with carriers amp; agents.
  • Client amp; Agent Billing: Prepare quotations, process invoices, and maintain files.
  • Order Management: Ensure timely follow-ups and delivery scheduling.
  • Communication: Manage correspondence with clients amp; overseas partners.
  • Data Management: Input and track POs, payable entries amp; other key logistics data.
  • Special Projects: Support company initiatives as needed.
  • Overtime amp; occasional weekend work may be required during peak times.
  • Minimal Travel required.

What Sets You Apart:

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in export operations.
  • Proficiency in AES Entry, Export Bills of Lading, and shipment documentation.
  • Strong skills in booking/tracking outbound freight, data entry, and file maintenance
