Must be located in the Indianapolis area - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly

The Change Execution Consultant will play a key role in ensuring our digital transformation IT projects meet objectives on time, with the right resources, and on budget by leading the development of employee training, increasing employee adoption and usage, and ensuring new / revised processes are implemented to provide maximum benefit with as minimal impact on day-to-day operations as possible.

This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures, and business unit training development. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change execution strategies, working with project managers, business leaders and partner vendor implementors to support planning for and execution of employee adoption and usage to minimize risk to implementation. The Change Management Consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher crucial utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of successful results and outcomes.

This position will have to work collaboratively with many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Execution Consultant will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The Change Execution Consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Execution Consultant will also support project teams in integrating change execution activities into their project plans.

Skills and Qualifications

•Minimum 10 years experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Experience with large-scale enterprise digital transformation / modernization efforts
•Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
•Excellent active listening skills
•Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
•Ability to establish and maintain strong relationship
•Ability to influence other and move toward a common vision or goal
•Flexibility and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
•Forward-looking with a holistic/systems view approach
•Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
•Change Management certification or designation desired; CCMP™/Prosci certification a plus
•State government / Indiana government experience a plus
