Director of Transplant Business Operations

This Magnet hospital features all-private rooms with 580+ beds and includes more than 250 physicians with expertise in more than 60 medical specialties. They are looking for a Director of Transplant Business Operations to join the team. They will manage the planning, coordination, and implementation of fiscal responsibility for the transplant program. They will also have oversite of the business operations for the transplant programs to include productivity, revenue cycle process, managed care contracting partnership, financial and value management.

This person will have three direct reports, and report to the Vice President of Transplant Services, who has been in the transplant field for over 18 years. She cares a great deal about building rapport and fostering collaboration between the organ procurement community and the transplant center community. She is looking for someone operationally excellent who has experience in working with the transplant world as well. She wants someone who is a direct communicator, fiscally responsible, and will look out for the financial integrity of the transplant program.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or adjacent field required.
• Masters Preferred
• Seven years experience in hospital Business Operations, should have some experience in hospital transplant operations or adjacent program.
