Job Description

Country Home Elevator and Stair Lift is excited to be accepting resumes for a Regional Sales Representative role that will be responsible for Selling & Project Managing installations in the elevator and lift arena in our Growing Olathe office . Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with working knowledge of Sales process and Retail Sales & project coordination processes, construction management, scheduling initiatives, Permits and Inspection. This is a long term, full-time opportunity with opportunity for advancement.

The founder and owner, Craig Jones, has a deep background of experience with elevators and lifts, having held positions with major elevator companies and suppliers. Job Description:

  • Fielding incoming office calls/requests
  • Learn the products and be able to sell them in a Showroom setting and in home environment.
  • Estimating and develop proposals from onsite consultation appointments
  • Permit submittals for new projects
  • Project document coordination
  • Contractor Pre-construction communications
  • Conduct business development initiatives to Architects, Home builders and General Contractors
  • Assist new product ordering process
  • Assist with Inventory management
  • Providing metrics to key stakeholders
  • Manage Region Budget and P&L
  • Assisting with day-to-day office operations as needed
  • Special projects as they arise, specifically for the office

Qualifications we are looking for:

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working daily in a CRM system
  • Knowledge of Construction process and documentation
  • Understanding of cost-effective installation and service routing/mapping.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Selling Skills and understanding of the sales process
  • Strong knowledge of Contract development and negotiation
  • Strong organizational skills pertaining to workload and time management
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • High-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Construction process and Building methods.

Education, training, and experience requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College coursework preferred.
  • Moderate to Advanced computer skills required.
  • Customer Service experience required.
  • Logistics/Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Construction and/or Project Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Permits and Inspections process

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift Plus BD meetings after hours HBA & NARI & ABC

 

Travel requirement:

 

  • Travel within KC Region
  • Some Manufacturer training out of State

 

Experience:

 

  • Sales: 3 years (Required)
