Role Overview:

As a Regional Sales Engineer/Specialist, your primary responsibility is to oversee business operations within your assigned geographic area, driving sales growth and profitability. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you'll execute strategic initiatives to maximize the company's market presence and ensure customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of business development within the designated geographic area.
  • Implement and execute the solution selling model, leveraging the support of the global sales organization as needed.
  • Oversee the entire Order Creation process, from demand generation to pricing negotiations and proposal development.
  • Conduct annual business reviews for existing clients, adapting supply terms as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and refine the Annual Sales Call Plan to achieve objectives.
  • Travel as necessary to support territorial goals and company objectives.
  • Perform quarterly sales analyses and annual forecasting for existing clients.

Professional and Personal Requirements:

  • Technical degree preferred (e.g., Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering) or a business-related degree with demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • 5-7 years of sales or business development experience, with a preference for solution sales in engineered assemblies and applications.
  • Proven track record of success in value-based selling and overcoming objections.
  • Experience across multiple industries (e.g., plastics, aerospace, automotive) is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
