We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Elkhorn Valley Packing in Harper, KS. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving boxed beef sales and expanding our customer base. Position is fulltime and must be performed on location in Harper KS. Starting salary between $60,000-$80,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers
- Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on leads
- Present and sell products to clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customer inquiries
- Some travel requred to meet and participate in customer events and food shows
Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of the meat industry is a plus
- Willing to commute or relocate to Harper KS
