POSITION: Full-Time Customer Service Representative
SCHEDULE: M-F 7:30a-2:30p with 30 minute lunch, Saturday 7:30a-12:00p, estimated 32-37 hours per week

Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are often the first point of interaction for customers. They enjoy people, are naturally friendly, have a positive attitude, and are able to handle detailed work. These attributes help the CSR build a relationship with our customers. As a member of the front-line customer service team, CSRs must be able to listen to customers’ needs and satisfy those needs with appropriate bank products or personnel. In addition, a CSR I have attained full proficiency of all teller duties and has the experience to train and assist less experienced Tellers.

- Must have excellent customer service skills, cash handling, and great attendance record.
- Banking experience preferred but not required.
- Must have the ability to learn software programs, internal policies & procedures, and be accurate and confidential.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Demonstrate good risk management decisions, including displaying good judgement and solid knowledge of guidelines for fraud prevention and robbery.
- Use knowledge and experience to assist less experienced Tellers with questions and further training.
- Handle incoming mail transactions, stamping mail daily and taking to post office.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate person if needed.
- Answer more complex customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, account histories and researches and/or refers customer to proper department if necessary.
- Assist customers with routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Accept loan payments and advances, verify amount and account to apply to, issue receipts as needed.
- Completes wire forms and moves the transaction to the next step in the process.
- Complete and log night deposits.
- Identify counterfeit currency.
- Process customer orders for cashiers’ checks and personal/business account checks.
- Maintain appropriate logs: cashier’s checks, cash, money orders, CTR’s and etc.
- Ensure teller station is properly supplied, count and roll change.
- Buy and sell currency to and from the vault as necessary, while ensuring that teller drawer cash limits aren’t exceeded. Balance teller drawer daily.
- Balance the vault.
- Offer Notary Services.
- Assist customers with internet banking issues including password resets and bill pay questions.
- Verification and authorization of internet banking access.
- Open/Close basic accounts, completing the appropriate paperwork and disclosures.
- Process teller transactions and proof images.
- Rent, surrender, and admit customers to safe deposit box vault and assists with entry to box.
- Understand bank products and services and cross-sell them to bank customers.
- Complete training required by management.
- Complies with BSA/AML training and reports all suspicious activity to BSA officer.
- Compliance with all bank policies and regulations.
- All other duties as might be assigned to you.
