Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team and be a part of a company dedicated to making a positive impact through delicious and nutritious food offerings. As the IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day IT needs for the company, including ongoing IT, maintenance, asset tracking and employee training on basic IT functions and requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT systems and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides first-line technical support to on-site and remote users via phone, email and in person.
  • Oversees the daily performance of computer systems. Modifies configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for workstations as necessary.
  • Deploys new and replacement equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Ensures end user satisfaction, accuracy, and timelines are all met.
  • Maintains asset tracking records and works with IT Manager to develop and manage equipment replacement schedule.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Develops training materials and procedures, and trains users in the proper use of hardware or software.
  • Keeps abreast of current desktop and LAN technologies through continuing education, journal review, web searches, and formal seminar opportunities.
  • Coordinates network coverage with IT Manager. Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of relevant technical experience
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)

  • Adaptability, and ability to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in technology.
