Primary Objective of Restaurant Manager Position

The primary objective of the Restaurant Manager is to ensure that the department functions efficiently, while
delivering quality, consistent service to all guests.

Responsibilities

· Oversees daily operations of the Restaurant

· Accountable for quality service for the guests in the restaurant.

· Establish and maintain quality standards of service

· Recruits and oversees training of Front-of-the-House staff

· Works with Chef in creating restaurant and bar menus.

· Schedule and arranges special events and/or special services/amenities for patrons.

· Assign work tasks & coordinates activities of restaurant and lounge personnel to
ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.

· Inspect lounge and dining room for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table
linens and other supplies.

· Design and implement marketing programs/promotions that maximize revenue and loyalty.

· Performs table touches to ensure quality service and immediately corrects any problems

· Reward employees who utilize their empowerment to meet or exceed customer
expectations.

· Financial accountability for department

· Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to
respond to customer questions in these areas as required

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and
taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and
must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also be
able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds. The
employee may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise is usually moderate to loud.
