About us

We are a growing property management company, with 38 years of service, overseeing state-of-the-art and luxury residential buildings across the Boston metro area. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finished Carpenter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finished carpentry and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Responsible for maintaining client’s high-end residential properties in downtown Boston area from installing trim and molding to crafting custom cabinetry and furniture. The Finished Carpenter will play a key role in delivering the finishing touches that transform our projects into works of art.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Install trim, crown molding, baseboards, and other finishing elements with precision and accuracy.
  • Fabricate and install custom cabinetry, built-in shelving, and other woodworking components.
  • Hang doors, install hardware, and ensure proper fit and functionality.
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications to complete projects according to design plans.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure seamless integration of finish carpentry elements into overall project scope.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Schedule and supervise vendors
  • Work with Property Manager to resolve issues with the property or residents
  • Enforce company and building policies and procedures
  • Oversee routine preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Always maintain a safe work environment and report any safety concerns / issues to the Property Manager
  • Perform a variety of installation and maintenance work
  • Effectively communicate in English including the ability to compose email notifications and instructions; read emails, instructions, and manuals; and understand, interpret, and relay verbal and written communication, information, and instructions
  • Follow up with Property Manager and owners to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner
  • Snow removal & plowing

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a finished carpenter, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade. Must own generally acceptable hand tools of the trade.
  • This position requires English proficiency.
  • Must be able to participate and be a part of our on-call rotation. As part of a rotation basis with the other maintenance employees you will be On-Call for a period of 7 days, Tuesday through Monday after business hours weekdays and 24 hours on the weekend.
  • Knowledge of state and local building codes, safety regulations, and practices pertinent to the construction industry.
  • Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to obtain dimensions and finished specifications for projects.
  • Move, lift, push, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 60 pounds, unassisted.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to pass criminal, credit and driving record checks.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license .
  • Travel to a variety of work sites every day.
  • Must be a self-starter with thorough understanding of custom residential remodeling and construction.
  • Some outdoor duties include snow shoveling in poor weather conditions.
  • A willingness to perform a variety of task such as snow removal, or anything else required for maintenance operations.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to act professionally at all circumstances.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
