Job description

Immediate opening for a fast growing Property Management Company whois seeking candidates to fill their Maintenance position. This keyrole willpromote the community, and the rental of properties using a thorough and accurate preparation of vacant properties for new residents.

The Maintenance associate will perform pre-maintenance required to bring the properties to a presentable level, so the work of painting and cleaning contractors can proceed quickly. Associate will also be responsible for touch-ups needed to make the property ready for occupancy. Willingness to work as a team member is a must as the Maintenance associate will assist the Manager and residents as needed in a polite and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have their own personal tools as well as the ability and skills to properly use those tools in addition to company provided tools while following all safety guidelines. Must be willing to perform multiple functions in a number of different areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electricity

  • Move appliances such as refrigerators and ranges (dolly assisted up stairs)

  • Transport items neededin properties such as windows and doors

  • Remove snow from sidewalks, steps, and driveways as needed

  • Read and follow instructions, warnings, procedures, etc.

  • Communicate effectively, and correctly

  • Work in various positions and tight areas

  • Travel up and downthree flights of stairs frequently during the work day

Requirements:

  • General maintenance knowledge
  • Personal tools
  • Transport up to 80lbs 30-40 feet
  • Tolerate extreme heat as well as extreme cold while working outdoors
  • Valid Driver License
  • Reliable transportation

Full Time Evaluation Hire Position

M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm

$17.00 / hour + DOE
