Nittany Energy/MinitMart is a family owned business locally owned and operated in Central Pennsylvania. Our experience and dependability in delivering quality fuels as well as our top notch service and installation make all the difference. Nittany Energy businesses, including 28 Nittany MinitMart locations and 7 oil offices have been serving Central and Northern Pennsylvania for over 60 years.

Job Summary

Performs general maintenance work on all company owned properties. Monitor and perform preventative maintenance on equipment in designated stores and office locations as directed. Maintain and repair various types of equipment. Based out of Philipsburg, PA. Pay is DOE.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED. Experience in the A/C, Refrigeration and General Maintenance field. EPA Section 608 Certification required. Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Must be able to operate power/hand tools and other equipment as needed. Some jobs will require a lot of kneeling and crouching as well as working in confined spaces. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through company insurance carrier as a driver.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.

• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing shelving, cleaning and other basic maintenance.

• Ensures continued operation by diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.

• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance.

• Contacts service vendors for materials as needed.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

• Document and communicate any and all irregularities, actions and continuing needs to the appropriate person(s).

• Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
