Inocras (formerly known as Genome Insight) was founded by a team of physician-scientists, geneticists, and bioinformaticians to improve how cancer and rare disease patients are diagnosed and treated by unlocking the full potential of genomic data through innovative bioinformatics, AI, and unparalleled whole-genome interpretation. We are the first private company in the United States to invest completely in a whole genome approach to diagnosis and treatment for cancer and rare disease.
As the Product Manager at Inocras, you will be a key architect in user-friendly platform development and execution to enhance digital experiences for key users, including patients, physicians and researchers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, design, and marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
We are seeking a seasoned product professional experienced with Zero-to-One product management, e-commerce applications, and healthcare technologies including EHR/EMR integrations.
You will join a strong, dynamic team and will help lead the launch of the most advanced, cutting edge diagnostics products to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy development:
- Define and articulate platform vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform decisions on platform design.
- Planning and execution:
- Translate strategic initiatives into detailed platform requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to prioritize features, plan sprints, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful launches.
- User experience and design:
- Champion user-centric design principles to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups that align with user needs and business goals.
- Technical knowledge:
- Serve as an in-house specialist on e-commerce applications, healthcare systems, and EHR integrations.
- Grasp the costs and benefits of technical decisions, confidently participate in discussions, and clearly communicate requirements to engineers.
- Stakeholder management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, design, marketing, and operations to align platform development efforts with overall business objectives.
- Communicate updates, milestones, and key insights to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Performance analysis:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.
- Analyze user data, feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
- Drive A/B testing and experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product features.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory concerns, mitigate risks, and ensure that products comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that development and changes to platform architecture are documented according to the company’s established quality standards.
- Work with IT teams to ensure platform data security and system testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA/masters degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in product / platform development, product management in the healthcare sector (ideally health techs), with a strong focus on digital customer experiences.
- Proven success in building, launching, and/or managing products
- Ability to lead sprints of idea generation and platform development process through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think out of the box, willingness to learn new things and explore uncertainties
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
