Job Summary
Reporting to the Program Director (PD), the Program Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day management of Kid Stocks performing arts education programs in accordance with the strategic direction and mission of the organization.
General Accountabilities
Program Planning and Management
- Giving key input to inform the development of the organization's strategic plan.
- Managing the Implementation of day-to-day operations for Kid Stock Inc.s programs.
- Monitor and report to PD on day-to-day delivery of Kid Stocks programs (i.e. production calendars, staff schedules, set/prop transport, costumes, curriculum, content etc.), ensuring all programs contribute to the organizations mission and reflect the priorities outlined by the PD.
- Being the liaison between Kid Stock and its partners. Gathering information on each programs needs and making recommendations to the PD regarding program structure, facility needs, registration logistics etc.
- Participate in the selection of all Programs production themes and coordinate preparation of corresponding content (i.e scripts, music, costumes, set, props etc.)
- Provide bi-weekly program reports to PD.
- Scheduling and assigning staff for all programs.
Human Resources
- Serve on Kid Stocks hiring panel, giving hiring, promotion, re-assignment, or termination recommendations regarding program staff to the PD.
- Give recommendations and insights regarding staff training, and professional development needs.
- Participate in facilitation of training and professional development for all program instructors and staff as requested by the PD or as identified by you.
- Be a resource, coach, and guide for on-site instructors regarding classroom management, daily tasks, and overall site needs.
- Supervise volunteer activities as requested by the PD.
- Be a witness to disciplinary procedures for Program Instructors and Staff when necessary, using legally sound practices.
- Personally fill in as an instructor, as needed.
Financial Planning and Development
- Be the liaison between parent or partner fundraising connections.
- Give budget recommendations to the PD regarding program needs.
- Monitor program budgets and resources in a responsible manner, reporting foreseeable discrepancies in a timely manner.
Marketing and Communications
- As requested by the PD, represent Kid Stock Inc. and assist with program related presentations at internal, community, or industry events to share information on current programming.
- Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with program partners.
- Recommend marketing needs based on current program trends.

- Education: B.A. in related field, M.A. (a plus), or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3-plus years teaching experience, or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5 -plus years Program Management experience
- Experience: 1 -plus years in budget management
- Drivers License and transportation required
