Job Description

Casting Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced casting manufacturing (foundry) professional.

· Develop STA point of view with Technical Experts and affected regions on manufacturing feasibility risk assessment and manufacturing readiness of new technologies

· Develop manufacturing feasibility plans for new parents, new technology, and high-risk commodities

· Lead the execution of casting manufacturing standard including 15 element industrialization standard

· Collaborate with peers in Product Development, PTME, Site STA & Purchasing

Skills Required:

· 5 years minimum casting foundry experience

· Advanced knowledge of casting manufacturing processes

· Operational experience in casting manufacturing processes and process control

· Experience in project management and/or program launch

Skills Preferred:

· Ability to speak and write in the English & Spanish language fluently to effectively communicate with global teams

Experience Required:

· LPDC process (Low Pressure Die Casting)

Education Required:

· Bachelor of Science/Engineering or academic equivalent

· MBA/MS preferred - Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical
