Compliance Manager

Full Service Real Estate and Property Management firm seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years property compliance or related experience
• HYBRID option
• Experience working with DOB, FDNY, HPD, DEP, DEC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with our violation attorneys to schedule and coordinate all ECB violation hearings
• HPD: Files all Multiple Dwelling Registrations Files all Certificate of Corrections Prepares application for the removal of all LBP violations
• FDNY: Files all certificates of correction Interfaces with sprinkler companies to: Arrange for 30-month flow tests Arranges for sprinkler and or standpipe inspections
• Review all FDNY invoices for accuracy
• DOB: Files all certificates of correction; Interfaces with elevator company and 3rd Party inspector to coordinate all cat 1 and cat 5 inspections Interfaces with PM and elevator company to correct deficiencies from cat 1 and 5 inspections
• Files all affirmation of corrections for building department violations Interfaces with boiler companies to coordinate annual boiler inspection and that report is filed Works with PM’s to process all DOB applications through DOB Now Works with PM’s to ensure that all FISP reports are filed DEP:
• Coordinates with boiler company to coordinate triennial inspection and the filing of the inspection Works with DM to ensure that all annual RPZ inspection are completed DEC
• Coordinates and handles filing of all oil tanks Out of Boroughs Handles all Nassau County elevator inspections Handles Nassau County annual pool permits Annual Safety Notices
• Coordinates with vendor so that annul notices are sent to NYC residents and to collate that information into work orders for window guards and LBP inspections. Annual Fire Sprinkler Notice:
• Coordinates that the mailing of the annual notices to non-sprinklered buildings Business Corporation Law Notice
• Works with DM to ensure that all Cooperatives receive Notice and follows up on compliance
