FCS's top client in the Greater Bloomington, MN area is actively looking for a highly skilled EH&S Plant Manager. The EH&S Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager, responsible for overseeing and directing EH&S programs across the plant, ensuring compliance with local Federal/State Regulations, EPA, etc. Managers will have strong leadership qualities, ability to drive a "Safety First" work environment, expertise in root cause analysis, incident investigations, and implementing new safety systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety , Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and heading the EH&S programs for the operation, monitoring work processes and procedures to drive team performance toward departmental goals.
- Background working within a high-volume / fast-pace production and manufacturing environment (chemicals, inks, food & beverage, consumer goods).
- Extensive knowledge and skill in development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs/activities and procedures.
- Identifies hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and assists with implementing corrective measures.
- Supervises and assists with inspection audits with OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.
- Determines and manages budgets for safety capital expenditures.
- Proven experience with permit administration and management, including Title V and Air permit experience.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations.
- Professional Certifications desired e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
