We offer civil and structural engineering, planning + landscape architecture, survey, and construction inspection services to public and private clients throughout Texas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Once selected to join our team, you will:
  • Engage in various traffic engineering projects including traffic signal design, impact studies, operational analysis, traffic signal warrant studies, parking studies, trip generation studies, signing and pavement marking plans, and geometric design.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, operational analyses, and designing construction documents/plans for transportation projects.
  • Contribute to small and large traffic engineering projects for diverse clients such as municipalities, institutions, TxDOT, private developers, and transit agencies.
  • Exercise judgment in work details and engineering alternatives, applying standard practices and techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:
  • Understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Synchro, Traffix/Vistro, HCS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
  • Knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

SKILLS:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in traffic engineering or related field preferred.
  • Exposure to fieldwork and signal timing would be advantageous.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification as an Engineer-In-Training in the State of Texas.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
