Hiring under the HELP PROGRAM:
Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement. This temporary program allows for a waiver of Civil Service Examinations for certain titles, in an effort to get qualified candidates quickly into vacant positions.
EMPLOYEES HIRED UNDER THE HELP PROGRAM
  • Incumbents will be granted competitive class status upon approval of Civil Service Rule XII - Certification for Appointment once incumbent has successfully completed six (6) months of service and completion of QIE - Qualified Incumbent Examination
  • NO written examination is required
  • MUST meet minimum qualification of the position for which they are applying and any other conditions of employment

Work Schedule:
8:00am - 4:00pm
Description of Duties:
Execute independent performance of routine clerical duties and assist in the performance of more difficult responsibilities. Interact on a professional level with teachers, parents and students, state agencies and vendors.
Requirements:
High School graduate or high school equivalency diploma; or
Two years of clerical experience which shall have involved typing or
An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined
above.
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail, Frontline, nVision, and SchoolTool preferred
Possess strong typing, communication and organizational skills
