Description
Student Asset Management
- Assign and distribute student devices and other technology resources to students in district software.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and asset accountability in district software
- Process, monitor, and maintain accurate records of student repair fees and supply fees (e.g., replacement device chargers and adapters) in district software
- Maintain inventories of student devices, chargers, earbuds, and related materials
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of supplies with library media specialist as needed
- Support finance secretary in collecting, digitizing, and cataloging insurance forms and related records
Student Device Technology Support
- Serve as the primary site contact for student device-related issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic student device and problems and perform basic fixes when appropriate
- Prepare, clean, update, and maintain a pool of loaner devices
- Manage and maintain a spare pool of student devices
- Coordinate with district repair services regarding damaged, repaired, or replacement devices
- Communicate with school administration regarding student technology repeated behaviors, e.g., disciplinary matters
Student Enrollment and Onboarding
- Set up technology devices and accounts for new students
- Onboard new students regarding student technology procedures and expectations
- Assist with password creation and account access
- Facilitate student device insurance paperwork
- Set up beginning of year initial bulk print of student identification cards
- Support school front office staff with student identification cards
Systems Coordination and Adminisitrative Support
- Communicate with district technology departments regarding support tickets, service requests, and site technology issues.
- Collaborate with other Student Asset Resource Clerk and district personnel to ensure consistent support services.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Instructional Technology and Assistant Director of Media Operations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to communicate on the telephone and computer. Must be able to get around the school, organize, locate and retrieve or shelve books or equipment. There is constant standing and walking; frequent bending/stooping, squatting/crouching, and reaching above the shoulder to handle inventory and to stand on step ladder/stool. There is occasional carrying and lifting of up to 50 pounds to receive and handle orders, moving damaged equipment, lifting and moving audio-visual equipment.
