We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused CVR Clerk who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.ย 

The CVR/Title Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation, such as taxes, titles, registrations, license plates, and other legal transfer documents regarding vehicle sales or owner information. They also help with inventory tracking, record keeping, reporting and dealer trade worksheets. The ideal candidate may have some post-secondary education, MA CVR certification and at least one year of experience in a similar position. Dealership experience preferred Must be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills.

  • Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Prepares tax and title documents.
  • Promptly submits all contracts and drafts to proper lending institution for payment.
  • Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
  • Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin & Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
  • Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller on a weekly basis.
