Accountant / Bookkeeper Duties Include:
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual trial balance and/or financial statements & adjusting journal entries
• Bookkeeping and payroll duties
• Preparation and filing of payroll and sales tax returns
• Preparation and filing of year-end reports, including Forms 1099 and W-2
Accountant / Bookkeeper Qualifications Include:
• Good communication and organization skills to work with clients directly
• Ability to create a company file from scratch
• Ability to create chart of accounts
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Ability to multi-task and focus in a fast paced office environment
• Understanding of federal and state taxation
• Ability to work independently, while being part of a team
• Ability to work with deadlines
• Public accounting experience preferred
Compensation based on experience. We are looking for full-time and local travel required to client sites.
