Now Hiring: Accountant I – Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)

We are hiring an Accountant I for an onsite contract opportunity in Alpharetta, GA. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with experience in accounts receivable, cash application, and account reconciliations.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Accountant I

  • Job ID: 37733

  • Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005

  • Duration: 12 Months

  • Pay Rate: $23.97/hour on W2

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer payments accurately to accounts receivable.

  • Research unapplied cash and resolve payment discrepancies.

  • Process customer credits, refunds, deductions, and adjustments.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing issues.

  • Support collections, month-end close, and AR reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or Accounting experience.

  • Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, and billing/collections.

  • Experience processing ACH, wire, check, lockbox, and credit card payments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
