What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Quality Control Associate to bring their A game to help us save the world, one package at a time! We are seeking a Quality Control Associate who is adaptable, diligent, and resourceful to maintain quality standards by inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, finished products; and recording the results. Are you prepared to ensure conformance and quality standards to help us save the world one package at a time?

What you will do:

  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
  • Inspect products in all production stages to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
  • Create tests for quality control of products
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
  • Sort and segregate defective material for return, replacement, or disposal (scrap) as may be the case.
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and/or calibration.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production processes.
  • Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Able to use and read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
  • Possess basic high school math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement
  • Basic computer skills, use of mouse, typing and basic applications preferred
  • Able to read and follow instructions on master design document or drawings
  • Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment in alignment with company culture and values
  • Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions issued
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
