Project Manager and Project Engineer CALTRANS

We are seeking a Project Manager and Project Engineer with heavy civil construction experience with earthwork, paving, underground utilities and/or concrete work. Working in both public and private sectors.
The Project Manager is an integral part of the project management team and assists the field supervisors with the planning and daily execution of the construction project to help ensure each project is completed under budget and early.
Key responsibilities may include but not limited to –
Function as a point of contact with subcontractors, field and office
Create and review baseline schedule with the project team to ensure goals will be achieved
Ensure proper coordination of new purchase orders and subcontractors change orders
Identify potential project impacts and propose solutions
Identify field issues and suggest potential alternatives to reoccurring issues
Preparing documentation and correspondence to clients pertaining to contract project issues and status
Develop and maintain good relationship with owners subcontractors
Review contract conditions and ensure compliance with all contract terms
Skills and qualifications...
Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering or related fields or equivalent experience
Practical construction knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and plans
Proficient and Microsoft Office suite, PlanGrid, HCSS, P6
QSP certified is a plus
Bilingual skills are a plus
