Job Description

Job Overview: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the dispatch office.

Job Functions:
Oversees daily dispatch of drivers and attendants as well as substitute drivers and attendants for efficient operations;
Create, update, and maintain all manuals, procedures or policies in accordance with all state and federal guideline and regulations and record keeping requirements;
Coordinates all fleet maintenance with proper vendors
Researches, investigates, and answers incoming correspondence and or calls received at the dispatch office.
Oversees DOT drug screening program.
Assist Supervisor of Transportation in all HR functions for the department.
Under direction, assists with the use of budgeted funds with the dispatch office.
Keeps abreast of trends and developments with school transportation.
Assist as needed/directed in any emergency situation that may arise including dispatch functions, accidents, etc.
