Our client is a growing Hospice organization in the Gainesville area of Georgia. They are looking for an on-call Hospice Registered Nurse to join the team.

The Position: Our Client is looking for an weekend on-call hospice Registered Nurse and offers the following benefits:

• Annual Salary: $80,000-$90,000
• Selfcare Benefits of $75 Each Month After One Year of Service
• $60 Monthly Cell Phone Reimbursement

• Mileage Reimbursement-$0.50 Per Mile
• PTO-12 Days in First Year, 15 Days at Year Two, 17 Days at Year Three

Responsibilities:

• Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM OR Monday - Thursday 5pm-8am
• There is a Hand-Off Call at the Beginning and End of Each Shift
• Admissions
• Triage
• Evaluate Patients
• Write Timely Clinical Records
• Check Vital Signs
• Support Family Members
• Notify Necessary Parties of Patient Deaths
• Follow Physician Orders

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
• Two years of clinical experience preferred
• Must be capable of compassionate communication with patients and families, have keen observation skills and knowledge of when to alert doctors and others
• Familiarity with EMR systems -preferred
• Must live within 20 miles of Hall County (Gainesville)
