WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS:

As our Senior Property Accountant, you'll perform month-end closing tasks with precision, recording journal entries, calculating accruals, and reconciling accounts. You'll meticulously prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards. Managing cash flow will be critical, as you provide accurate forecasts to our senior management team. You'll also oversee fixed asset accounting, recommending useful lives and depreciation schedules.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to tax return documentation and budgeting, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decisions. Your expertise will also extend to mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering growth within our team!

What we need from you:

• 3 years of property accounting experience
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret financial information accurately to prepare financial reports
