CraneWorks is an operated crane and construction equipment rental company headquartered in Birmingham AL, with additional locations in Nashville, TN, Decatur, AL, and Mobile AL. We have cranes from 2.5 tons to 500 tons and services in crane lifts, rigging, machinery moving, storage as well as a large bare rental fleet. We can provide the crane, rigging, and certified operator/rigger. Under the RentalWorks Division, we maintain a large bare rental fleet to supplement our operated crane division. We have over 30 years’ experience in the operated and bare rental marketplace.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dispatch / Inside Sales Associate for our Nashville, TN (LaVergne) operated crane division. The Dispatch / Inside Sales Associate will communicate daily with customers, operators, and drivers. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring on-time service on operate crane jobs. The Dispatcher serves as the main point-of-contact for company operators and drivers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take incoming sales call and provide industry leading customer service.
• Dispatch cranes for incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Crane knowledge, logistics, & load chart knowledge a plus
• Familiar with DOT oversize/overweight permits
• Microsoft Office skills experience: Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook
• Maintain and manage customer contact lists to include future follow up to grow revenue.
• Ability to work individually in a fast-paced environment
• Uses consistent business processes to achieve desired results
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Work with outside sales force to gain new customers.
• Work with outside sales force to maintain and grow existing customers.
• Execute specific sales initiatives as they are developed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience

License & Certification

• Valid Driver’s License

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office environment, equipment shop environment, or job site. Noise, fumes, and chemicals associated with a shop environment is expected.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
