• Relationship Cultivation with External Partners
• Lead RS Donation Efforts
• Facilitate RS Engagement Functions
• Securing Volunteer Needs

What will you be doing in your role?

• You facilitate regular communication with agency staff to determine needs of refugee services and the Match Grant Program.
• You meet the Match Grant match requirements through in-kind donations, events, and volunteer hours.
• You establish priorities and adapt to the changing demands of refugee services programs.
• You effectively maintain relationships with faith-based organizations, social service providers, and other community partners.
• You partner with donors to fulfill Refugee Service’s needs.
• You maintain a detailed knowledge about community partners and develop new relationships with external partners.
• You apply to grants when needed.
• You will successfully bring in in-kind donations to meet Refugee Service’s donation needs.
• You meet your commitments and effectively manage your administrative duties.
• You maintain the donation center.
• You secure regular volunteers for Refugee Services.
• You effectively communicate with your team, peers, supervisor, and agency leadership.
• You collaborate with the Advancement team when needed.

Are you the next Community Engagement & In-Kind Specialist?

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• One-year prior experience with community engagement and donors
• Grants experience preferred
• Proactive, detail oriented with ability to multitask
• Must have excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to give presentations to large groups.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid Texas driver’s license, and liability insurance
• Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push 50+ pounds
