Assistant Controller

As the Assistant Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for assisting in various accounting and financial tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

· Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Generate accurate and timely financial statements.

2. General Ledger Management:

· Contribute to maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.

· Assist in reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts.

3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

· Support the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.

· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and collections.

4. Financial Compliance:

· Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

· Provide support during audits and tax filings.

5. Financial Analysis:

· Assist in conducting basic financial analysis to support decision-making.

· Help identify trends and variances in financial data.

6. Process Improvement:

· Participate in identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes.

· Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and accuracy.

· Assist in establishing a strong control environment and protecting the company’s assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10-20 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday

Salary: $75K - $100K / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule (Direct Deposit Available)
