Be Someone’s Hero! The Paradise Valley Branch is hiring a Full Time Assistant Director to lead engaging activities with youth!
The Assistant Director will plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate a broad range of activities within the three priority outcomes of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Citizenship. Will assist the Branch Director in recruitment, supervision, evaluation, termination and training of program staff; maintains accurate membership information in the areas of daily attendance, billing, membership status, and Vision program tracking and participation; assists in facility management, cleanliness, and safety; engages in open communication with parents and addresses parent concerns.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create, plan, and oversee the implementation of Targeted Programs and High Yield Learning Activities that support the Optimal Club Experience
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of members, quality of programs, and development of the organization
- Participate in professional development and training to deepen knowledge of effective youth strategies
- Apply behavior management strategies to support members social and emotional well-being
- Participate in planning and implementing Club events including family nights, community events, outreach events, and others
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with youth recommended
- Demonstrated technology skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be a part of a team in a highly stimulated environment
- Strong customer relations skills and demonstrate the ability to work with the general public
- Creativity and flexibility
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Be punctual with documentation and reports
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- CPR and First Aid Certifications
- Valid state driver’s license
